It's hard for a masked superhero to find a trustworthy medical provider. Luckily, Peter's found one. Good outsider POV on Spider-man (and Peter).

"Seriously?" says Penny that night, pitching her voice low the way she always does when she's masked. One thwip later and the mugger's gun is halfway down the alley, and there is a gratifyingly oh-shit expression on his face. "Has the memo not gone out yet? You go for violent crime in this neighborhood and you get mocked. That's how this works."
"You're - " says the mugger.
"Yes," says Penny. "I am vengeance. I am the night. I am...definitely getting sued for copyright infringement." Really lovely rule 63!Peter story. I really like how the essential core of the character doesn't really change all that much.

It wasn't obvious to Peter at first, but there came a time as he moved through the night city that he realised he was noticed. Known. YES. THIS. It's tiny but it's the tiny Spider-man story OF MY HEART. ♥PETER♥
