Casablanca

Oh, the absolute perfect epilogue to Casablanca, with such a spot on Louis voice that I could practically hear Claude Rains telling me this story. Wonderful

Nom de Coeur by Dorinda
Ooh, this was good. Understated, long, slow, unfolding in its own time, keeping me glued to the screen to find out where it was going. Lovely Louis characterization and a nice Rick voice.

Jeeves and Wooster

Yeah, this is why I was asking about the books. Absolutely hilarious.

Jeeves and the Blessed Indiscretion by [livejournal.com profile] astolat
And another utterly charming and funny story, that also manages to be endearing and sweet.

Nero Wolfe

This story is incredibly spot-on in terms of both characterization and narrative voice. First person is *so* hard to do well (I tend not to read fic in first person, myself), even if (perhaps especially if) the source material itself is in first person. But this... this could have been straight (heh) out of one of the books - that's how well the author nails Archie here. And it was hot, too. *g* Wonderful work. (Archie Goodwin/Saul Panzer)
