Batfamily
a different story by

In a world where Batman retires once Jason Todd dies, Tim still aspires to be a hero. Without Batman to turn too, he decides to take matters into his own hands. Red Robin hits the streets of Gotham, and soon teams up beside Nightwing as Gotham's sole protectors.
Then, a little six year old boy who calls himself Robin is thrown into the picture with one goal in mind- bring Batman back into the picture. I enjoyed this a lot.

Sure, Kryptonians look human enough, but underneath all that flawless tanned human skin rests a creature that came from the stars. This is a fun AU about how Kon comes into the world, with a sweet Superbat romance in the background.
Consanguineous Ministrations by
Briarwitched
Batfleck accidentally acquires baby Kon after Clark dies. Hilarious and adorable.

Dr. Wayne AU by
Sohotthateveryonedied
In which Bruce Wayne is a pediatrician at Thomas Wayne Memorial Hospital. Every once in a while he meets another orphan in need of help, and what is he supposed to do, not adopt them? Come on.

Good Intentions and the Highest Hopes by

Bruce offers each of his children the chance to go on vacation with him, and they get to choose the destination. Jason chooses the one place he thinks Bruce will enjoy the least, out of spite.
That's how the two of them end up going to Disney World. *hearteyes*
In Care of Mr. Alfred Pennyworth by
BirdChild
At first, Alfred had not been surprised when school materials kept ending up in the manor's mail. Many of them were still addressed to the Waynes, who had been dead for less than four months.
But this one was addressed, in crisp penmanship, to "Bruce Wayne c/o Mr. Alfred Pennyworth."
The problem was that Bruce Wayne was no longer "in care of" Alfred. Bruce was with his uncle. A plan which everyone (except Bruce and the Waynes' will) had agreed was for the best. Oh Alfred. <333

Batman needed Robin. Even if they aren't who they were. Lovely! *sob*
NA NA NA NA Batdad! by

The irony of Batman having that coffee mug was amusing. The thought of Brucie Himbo Trainwreck Wayne owning it was hysterical. Ollie took a quick swallow of coffee to push back a laugh. "I like the coffee mug. A friend of mine has the same one." Hee!

Damian is haunted.
(In which Damian Wayne's guilt manifests itself into a hallucination of Timothy Drake, and he changes himself so he can be better.) Very interesting take on Reverse Robins.

AU where Tim starts out as the program running the Bat Computer and grows into an AI who in turn becomes Robin after Jason dies. I enjoyed this a lot (though there's a weird absence where Dick should be).

Stephanie Brown at three different stages of her life, and her interactions with Edward Nygma at each one. Oh Steph. <3
Spill of the War by

Unfortunately, menstrual cycles happen to be one of very few problems in Stephanie's life that she cannot solve with her fists. Steph's got her period, so Damian brings snacks. Oh heart.
The Threads That Bind by

In which Jack and Janet Drake accidentally give seven-year-old Tim a pair of grimoires. Tim learns some interesting things. Oh heart.
This Is No Funeral Horn by
Cymbidia
Tim Drake accidentally time travels into the body of his past self, landing some time after Bruce has agreed to train him but before his official debut as Robin. He figures that the first thing he needs to do is to let Bruce know that Jason isn't dead. Oh Tim. (The sequel is fun too!)
through death and time by
sparkycap
After a mission that takes Batman and Nightwing back twenty years in the past, they end up with time to kill. Bruce does what he does best: he finds a kid.
Luckily this one is already his. *sobs*
through space and time by
sparkycap
When an Outlaws mission gets Jason sent back twelve years in the past, he finds himself in a familiar position: stealing something stupid and getting caught by a Batman who wants to give him a second chance.
It's a refreshing change from how encounters with his present-day Batman usually go. (companion piece to through death and time, also recced.) Oh Jason. Oh heart.

Kidnappers strike at a gala and abduct two of Bruce Wayne's sons. Or at least that's what they think. Oh Dick. <3
When it Rains by

"What about yourself, Richard?" asks the reporter, widening her own insincere smile to match as she turns her torso half an inch towards him. "As the eldest I am sure you are simply overjoyed to have your brother back but, might I ask: why is it, do you think, that you are the only one of Mister Wayne's children that he hasn't formally adopted?" oh Dick. Oh heart.

Everyone knows the brew pub menu is the most complicated one, so Eliot needs someone who knows his way around knives to help get the pub up and running. Luckily he knows just the guy. Jason helps out with the opening of the brewpub. <3
