Sickeningly (and I mean that in the good way) possible way for events from the finale to play out, with Aaron Echolls making a comeback and everyone else left broken in the wake. The Vanity Fair profile format is an inspired way to deal with the fallout from the finale from an outside perspective, and so very much something I could see on the show.

Sharp, brittle, in-character exploration of Lianne Mars. Lovely and painful.
12 Rolls of Film bysinaddict
The fearsome foursome (with cameo by Weevil) in all its twisted glory. It's wrong (consider that your incest warning) and it's dirty and it's *hot*, and it totally fits their characters. The show will never go there, but oh man, it would explain so much. (thanks tobarely_bean for the rec!)
