Lovely and sad and hurtful picture of Sirius and Andromeda, ready to escape the Black family, and Bellatrix, who doesn't want things to change. All three are drawn wonderfully well in lovely, spare prose, and the last line is a kicker.

A Creature Void of Form by Ignipes
During GoF, Remus visits Sirius in the cave on Christmas. Sirius here is slightly less together than he is when we see him in GoF, but it makes sense that he's not keeping up appearance for Remus. I like the way the issues lying between them are handled, though nothing is resolved.

Lovely post-prank Remus/Sirius fic.

Falling by Saiph
Wonderful story of Lily finally softening toward James. Couple minor grammatical errors don't detract from the fun banter and the breathless feeling of rapprochement turning into something warmer.

Just Waiting by mousapelli
Remus goes through the veil to bring Sirius back. Fabulous use of POV and just a really intriguing retrieval method.

Lights, Night and Otherwise by krabapple
The day of Harry's christening, Lily watches and thinks about her husband's friends, and the cracks are already showing in their relationships. Quiet, evocative, deeply felt, this story is lovely and sad.

One Is for You by phineasjones
Oh, man, this story hits so many of my bulletproof kinks in such a short space I can't even begin... Sirius sits in a diner and asks Remus to meet him, because he has something he wants to say. I love this fic so much. Hopeful, poignant, hot - everything I could want in a Remus/Sirius fic.

Out of the Bag by iibnf
Snape doesn't like Transfiguration, and McGonagall finds out why. Lovely.

Queer by switchknife
Sirius is not queer, if by "not queer" you mean, "lusting after Remus." It's all Remus's fault. Hilarious, hot and sweet.

Wistful story about Neville and his gran. She loves him, and maybe she hasn't always known how to show it, but he gets it now. Sigh.

Undone by librae
Omigod, so very hot. Either Sirius wants to prove he's more perverse than Remus, or he just wants Remus to feel better about his own perviness, or, most likely, a combination of the two. Either way, Sirius wanks while Remus watches. Mere words cannot convey the hotness here.

Snape meets Despair, per my request. It's not pretty, but oh god, the story itself is *gorgeous*. And the *ending*. I never thought I'd find myself feeling sorry for Despair, but Dre manages it. And Snape... *is shamed to admit a soft cry of "woobie" on his behalf almost forced itself past my trembling lips*
