At Halloween, the Winchesters are regressed back to little boys physically, but retain their adult brains. Hilarity ensues.

"Oh my God," Sam said, the horrible truth dawning on him at last. "Oh my God, Dean, do you think we're dating?" Hilariously adorable. Obliviously, unnecessarily chivalrous Dean for the win! (wincest)

Winchesters, Sedaris-style. Perfect, hilarious, and heartbreaking.

A really nice look at John and Ellen's first meeting.

Fantastic story of Mary's little sister, who never gives up searching for her nephews, even after what she learns about them should give her pause. Evocative and well done.

Hee! Sam might not want the job, but the demons need a leader. Hilarious.

Sam switches shampoo and suddenly everyone around him is treating him like royalty. These two things may or may not be related. Sam has a new power ...thingy, there are Star Wars metaphors, and Bela is Bela. Hilarious.

there is no girl, no cautionary tale, just two men who make the same mistakes over and over. Dark, harsh and sad. Oh, boys.

AU, sort of, in which Sam drops out of Stanford. Sort of. Sad and creepy and hurty. Oh, Dean. Oh, boys.
Strange's Country by

Long, smart, utterly engrossing story of how Sam saves Dean from hell. Has a Gaiman-esque feel to it, and is apparently a crossover with Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, but I haven't read that and didn't really feel the lack. Could stand to have Britishisms weeded out, but overall a fabulous story.
The Wake Up Call by
luzdeestrellas
Warm and schmoopy first time fic wherein Sam starts crawling into bed with Dean and Dean's resistance eventually crumbles. (wincest)

Dean has the kind of hands that are skilled and slow, that can string out pleasure and rebuild an engine. He thinks with his hands, understands things by taking them apart and putting them back together. He knows how to reach into the heart of something and leave it a little better for having known him. Slow, melancholy, beautiful exploration of Sam holding onto Dean every way he can. (Wincest)

"Dude, I think the Impala's knocked-up." Hilarious and adorable.
Tradition! by

the Winchesters' Christmas season, which mostly consists of laying low, going after angry spirits that like to force or frighten poor, unsuspecting misers into showing their Christmas spirit, and buying rocksalt in bulk. Hilarious!
