Lovely story of James and Lily's wedding - warm, affectionate, with the feeling that MWPP+Lily have been friends for years. I love the way Remus lets it all roll over him with affectionate bemusement, likely the best attitude to have around James and Sirius.

This hits so many of my bulletproof narrative kinks, I can't even... Remus, happy to take what little Sirius will give him, and Sirius, not quite getting it and just wanting to make him happy, and oh... My poor sweet boys... *sniff* I love this so much.

Aziraphale experiences doubt after the near-apocalypse, and turns to Crowley for reassurance.

Pepper is a slayer. It explains so much, really. I wish this had been longer, a full-fledged crossover, but it works as it is.

Eeee! Speranza's writing Josh/Donna! Loopy, early seasons, Josh goes down on Donna for no discernible reason fic that explores the weird nearly non-existent boundaries of their relationship. Funny and hot and sweet.

Crowley and Aziraphale are lost and Crowley won’t buy a map; instead he settles in for the night in the backseat of the Bentley. I really like the stillness in this, and the sudden realization.

Satan Is My Motor by tea_and_snark
Lovely, evocative story in which Crowley tries to make a moment last by reliving it.

Survivors' Guilt by irisbleu
Utterly beautiful and moving story of Crowley and Aziraphale through the ages.

These are all from the yuletide archive (and there are a few more I'll probably eventually get around to reccing, but these are all the stories I recced before the authors were revealed (plus one pinch hit Ocean's 11 fic that's utterly FABulous).

Hee! Office Christmas parties are the same everywhere, and the Metatron attempts to escape from conversation with Aziraphale at this one. Witty, clever, with a spot-on Aziraphale voice, and lines that I can easily imagine Mr. Rickman speaking. (I will see Dogma one day. It's on my list.) Anyhow, read this fic.

Just ducky. Sorry. Seriously, wonderfully ineffable and in character banter between Crowley and Aziraphale on the possibility of ducks.

This is just absolutely darling. Aziraphale is sneaky and clever, Crowley gets presents, and their affection for each other shines through nicely.

oh, I'm in love with this story. It makes me all achy in the chestal area because it's so warm and loving and sweet and funny. Just completely charming.

Take Your Brother to Work Day by marksykins
Lovely revisiting of "The Shadow of Her Wings" with Death taking Daniel along for a day's work as he attempts to become comfortable with his new role. Really nails the characters.

Discworld/Sandman
Whose Names Are Death by bravecows
Brilliant, poignant, clever story in which Death of the Endless visits Death of Discworld.

Further Reflections by foreverdirt
Susan Sto-Helit and Death of the Endless meet, and find they have things in common. Just delightful. The voices are spot-on.

Snarky Crowley and defensive Aziraphale and a lovely conversation about family.

Falling Rain by Ariastar
Crowley stows away on the Ark. Aziraphale finds him. Tentative companionship and an oh-so-slow build up to the agreement (before it was capitalized) and maybe something more. The language is lovely, and the end made my chest all achy.

Naked and Unashamed by Louise Lux
Crowley convinces Aziraphale that maybe trying this lust thing out would help them understand it better (and thus do better at their respective jobs). Sweet, hot first time story; evocative and sensual.

Good Omens/Dogma crossover. I still have not seen Dogma, so I'm a little lost on the Loki and Bartleby business, but the Aziraphale/Crowley interaction is too sweet and fun to miss.

Growing Season by Kathleen Anne
Aziraphale takes charge of Crowley’s plants, with unexpected results. I enjoyed this a lot – the banter is witty and in character. A great slice-of-life story.

Twofish by a demon of my word
Crowley and Aziraphale get drunk and stuff happens. I’m less fond of the second chapter than I am of the first, which seems to nail the characters perfectly, but overall, a really good fic.

California Dreaming by daegaer
Crowley is called to account by Hell’s accounting department. The Hellmouth in Sunnydale is his road home. Yes, Good Omens meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Better on the GO than on the BtVS, but still, a damn funny story.
