Exactly what it says on the tin - AU where Ahsoka's the Slayer and Anakin's her watcher, but after she died and came back, there's a new, by the book Slayer, and Ahsoka and Anakin have to mend the strain in their relationship. This does a really great job of translating "Landing at Point Rain" into a Buffy-style monster of the week story. I could have read a few thousand more words of this fusion, but it ends rather abruptly.

Recced everywhere, and for good reason. Perfectly nails both canons with wit and sharp-eyed detail. I'm crammed into a burrow so small that my knees are up around my ears and the boom mike keeps slamming into my head, inhaling the potent scent of toffee-apple brandy and trying to drink a talking mouse under the table. But is it really the boom mike that's making my head pound? I know for sure that my camera man doesn't usually have two heads. I have to face facts. The mouse is winning.

In his old age, Sethos makes a discovery that would cast his brother's in the shade. I don't want to say too much, because I want you to have the squee moment I had when you figure it out. OMG! I love this so much! You know when you're reading something and you have to hold your breath, because it's perfect and you don't want to see it fumbled at the end? Well, that's how I read this, my love growing and growing, along with my fear that it would all come tumbling down into a bad ending, but it doesn't! The author handles the whole thing - even the connection to Vicky Bliss and John Smythe - with grace and aplomb. *heart*

Warm and wonderful fic that reads just like an episode. It's Christmastime in Cicely, and Fleischman is grumpy. The townsfolk set out to find out why, and maybe make it better. Lovely!
